Why is Fiducial a qualified buyer for my business?
We’re a strong buyer for your business because of our experience, size, longevity and the financial strength of our company. We’ve been in the accounting services industry since the 1970s. Currently, we are one of the largest accounting firms in the world, with our 500 offices in Europe. Our U.S. presence consists of offices nationwide.
All of these offices are currently using our successful Fiducial systems that allow for unsurpassed levels of service to our customers. Acquisitions and client referrals--from existing as well as former clients--are the mainstay of our growth.
What is the outlook for Fiducial in the future?
Our integrated product lines and target markets are growing. The products that we offer today are those that are most desired by small business owners who are tired of shopping in multiple places. They are looking to buy their services from a trusted source that already has an intimate knowledge of their business. We are always working on expanding our product lines while retaining their complementary nature. On the market side, we cater to a tier of small business owners who are feeling left out in the cold because the big firms don’t want to service them. Whether they’ve come to us through acquisitions or are new to Fiducial, our clients find comfort in the fact that we work closely with people who have a local focus and knowledge. Our outlook is very strong and optimistic in an industry that we know very intimately.
What happens once the sales process is complete?
Here the choice is really up to you. Whether you want to spend more time with your family and just cash out or you want keep working in a fast growing organization, the option is yours. We find that many of the individuals that sell to us are excited to join our team and to have access to the deeper resources of a national company.
How long does it take to complete the process?
Every deal is a little different but we work towards having a typical acquisition program process completed within three months. Some have moved faster but generally it takes this time for everyone to get ready for the changes that need to take place.
What happens to my staff once I sell?
It’s our philosophy that to grow we need to leverage the skills of those employees who are most knowledgeable of your client base. We regularly induct the staff of sellers into the Fiducial organization. Our acquisition team is experienced in helping acquired employees make the transition as smoothly as possible.
All new hires are required to participate in a half day New Hire Orientation session that provides information on our corporate culture, organization structure, services that we provide to our small business clients and an overview of our employee benefits.
